Build a real quote →Container loading rules — palm-leaf tableware
- 20' FCL usable volume
- 28 m³ realistic floor-load capacity (nominal internal volume ~33 m³; bulky palm-leaf cartons floor-load to ~28 m³, no pallets).
- 40' HC FCL usable volume
- 67 m³ realistic floor-load capacity. A 40' HC has a larger nominal internal volume (~76 m³), but bulky, irregular palm-leaf cartons do not pack beyond ~67 m³ even with expert container stuffing — loading to nominal risks overflow.
- Payload ceiling
- 28 tonnes per container
- Binding constraint
- Both volume and weight are checked; palm-leaf loads are volume-dominated, so volume typically binds before weight
- Minimum order quantity
- 100 cartons per product (10,000 pieces); minimum order is one full container
- Maximum products per 40' HC
- 9 distinct products
- Typical 20' FCL fill
- 90,000–130,000 pieces
- Typical 40' HC fill
- 300,000–350,000 pieces
- Loading method
- Floor-loaded full container load (FCL); no pallets
- Incoterm
- FOB New Mangalore Port (INMAA)
