DAkkS

DAkkS is the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle — Germany’s national accreditation body for testing and inspection laboratories. An LFGB §30 §31 test report issued by a DAkkS-accredited laboratory is the highest-tier evidence German importers can present to demonstrate food-contact safety compliance to customs and downstream procurement.

In B2B context

In German food-contact safety review, the laboratory issuing the test report is often more important than the report itself. DAkkS accreditation indicates that the laboratory has been independently audited against ISO/IEC 17025 and is authorised to issue legally-defensible test reports for German jurisdiction. A DAkkS-accredited LFGB §30 §31 test report is rarely challenged by importers, customs, or downstream HoReCa procurement.

For Indian palm leaf plate manufacturers, DAkkS-accredited testing typically requires shipping representative SKU samples to a DAkkS-accredited testing partner in Germany or to an Indian lab with a DAkkS mutual-recognition framework. Ecodyne maintains DAkkS-accredited LFGB §30 §31 reports for the full standard SKU range and refreshes them annually; reports are supplied with every export order alongside the BSCI and ISO certifications.
