What an areca leaf plate is — and how we make it
An areca leaf plate is single-use foodservice tableware pressed at 200°C from one naturally fallen areca palm sheaf — no adhesives, coatings, plastic liners, PFAS or dyes. “Areca leaf plate” and “palm leaf plate” describe the same product: the areca palm (Areca catechu) is the palm whose shed leaf sheath is the raw material. As an areca leaf plates manufacturer we run an eight-stage process — collection, grading, washing, soaking, heat pressing at 200°C, 24-hour drying at 60°C, UV sterilisation, and inspection with palletisation — across 90 distributed units powered entirely by solar.

Every plate is finished with dual sterilisation — a 200°C heat press followed by a UV-conveyor step — and graded to three published quality tiers: Premium, Economy and Domestic. The signed MOU and programme records are available to qualified buyers on request.

What is the minimum order for a wholesale buyer?
The minimum order is one full container: 300,000–350,000 units for a 40ft High Cube, or 90,000–130,000 units for a 20ft, depending on product mix. Mixed SKUs in one container are accepted at no extra charge. Less-than-container-load is not offered for wholesale.
How long does it take to load a container?
A 40ft High Cube is loaded and despatched within 10 working days of a confirmed purchase order and 50% advance; a 20ft within 5–6 working days. A 1% per-day delay penalty on invoice value is written into every contract, capacity backed by a 3 million-plus unit standing inventory.
Which certifications do the plates carry?
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, BSCI, LFGB §30 §31 and USDA BioPreferred, with EU food-contact compliance under Regulation 1935/2004. EN 13432 industrial-compostability certification is in progress. Scanned certificates accompany every quote; the certification pack is released through the documentation gate.
Do you manufacture private-label and custom packaging?
Yes. Roughly 75% of output ships as private label for distributors and brand owners, with custom cartons, printed sleeves and branded packaging. Free samples are provided; the buyer covers courier. Pricing is fixed for up to two years through raw-material stockpiling.
What does an areca leaf plate cost at wholesale?
